Kingston Pizza is a now a household name in Southern Rhode Island with an impressive ten locations. During 28 years of hard work and perseverance, Sam expanded his business by franchising Kingston Pizza. The newest owner, James Maroni bought the Kingston Pizza Quonset location in August of 2010. James has been an employee and longtime family friend. We wish him great success in this new venture!
In January 2008, Rob Donahue, owner of West Warwick Kingston Pizza gave hard work and dedication a new meaning. Rob has moved his West Warwick location to a new building 500 feet down the road at 72 West Warwick Ave. He started out in 1996 at the original Kingston Pizza in Kingston, RI and has worked at every store with a committed sense of pride. His unconditional perseverance and enthusiasm has surely paid off, running an extremely successful Kingston Pizza for the past 4 years. Rob did all the renovations himself. Come in to say hi to Rob and check out the new space.
Christopher Gay owns and operates the Kingston Pizza Richmond store located at 54 Richmond Townhouse Rd. (Rt 112) in Richmond, RI. Originally from Narragansett, RI Chris has dutifully worked at Kingston Pizza for the last eight years, and is thrilled to be now running two successful Kingston Pizza restaurants of his own.
In 2007, Mike Cartier and Chris Gay opened the Kingston Pizza Middletown location on 659 West Main Rd. on Rt. 114 in Middletown. Mike is a great addition to the team. Being as hard working has he is, it is no surprise that he recently led the store to win two awards. The first was "Best Pizza" voted by Rogers High in Newport for 2007. The most recent award, "Best Specialty Pizza" was the award at the 2010 Newport Winter Fest.
Scott Brown knows the ins and outs of the pizza business. In 1996 Scott started working at the original Kingston Pizza while attending the University of Rhode Island. Possessing excellent personal skills, Scott quickly worked his way up the ladder becoming the general manager of all the stores. In 2004, after nearly eight years of devoted service Scott purchased both Kingston Pizza in Narragansett and Kingston Pizza in Cranston.
If not for the managers and long time employees, none of these restaurants would be the success that they have become to this date. We appreciate all the positively and support of our staff as well as our customers.
